it was exactly one week ago today that we had our first sew with m.o.m sewing class. what a great group of women we had! mom and i were a tad nervous, but we were put at ease by our wonderful hostess, alexis of fern + feather and the awesome students.
the class was shown how to make an apron: we shared our way of making a pattern by using paper grocery bags; how to gather fabric, make a waistband, and little tips we've learned over the years.
we would love to offer more classes. here is what we need...
a host with a home that can accommodate 5-6 students plus me and mom; room for ironing boards, tables for cutting and sewing. the host gets the class for free! the cost of a class changes based on what is being shared.
